The pages are just the right thickness for my fountain pen—no bleed-through, which is my usual dealbreaker. I actually love that the cover doesn't match anything else I own; it makes it feel one-of-a-kind.

The cover design on mine is this lovely deep teal I wouldn't have picked myself, and it's grown on me a lot. The paper handles my fountain pen without bleeding through, which is the main thing I need. For a leftover sample, it feels anything but.
