The wire binding lays completely flat when I'm writing, which is a small thing but makes a big difference. And knowing the cloth cover is one of a kind because it's hand painted makes me want to actually use it instead of hiding it on a shelf.

The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person, with little brushstroke details you don’t notice in the photos. Pages feel thick and smooth, and the 103 gsm paper handled my fountain pen without ghosting. Nice to finally have a notebook that’s genuinely one-of-a-kind.

I was a bit worried the wire binding would feel flimsy, but it lays completely flat and the pages turn so smoothly. The 103 gsm paper is thick enough that my gel pen doesn't bleed through, and knowing the cover is one-of-a-kind makes this feel extra special.
