The heavy texture of the paint really catches the light differently throughout the day, almost like the thyme tones shift with the sun. It’s a small piece, but it adds so much depth to my kitchen wall that I keep stopping to look at it.
The wood canvas gives it a warm, gallery-like feel that photographs don’t quite capture, and those swirled color blends shift in the light. Hung it above my reading chair and find myself staring at the paint ridges instead of turning pages.
The heavy texture from the acrylic really pops on the wood canvas, and the thyme-green tones shift subtly depending on the light. It’s become the quiet focal point of my dining room, and I catch myself staring at the layered paint strokes every time I walk past.
