The foil stamping on the covers looks even better in person than in the photos—each notebook really is one of a kind. The hand-painted pulpboard gives it a nice texture that feels more like a small piece of art than a standard notebook.
I was worried the wire binding would feel flimsy, but it’s surprisingly sturdy and lays flat perfectly. The hand-painted cover has such subtle texture you can’t get from a print, and knowing it’s one-of-a-kind makes it feel special.
The foil stamping on the cover caught the light just right on my desk, and knowing it was pressed on an antique machine makes it feel like a tiny piece of craft history. I keep flipping it open just to admire the hand-painted pulpboard, which is way more textured than a standard notebook.
