The wood frame has a nice weight to it, and the acrylic surface picks up light in a way that makes the whole room feel warmer. I catch myself glancing at it every time I walk by, which is exactly what I wanted from a statement piece.
The handpainted colors are even more vivid in person, and the acrylic finish gives it a modern sheen that catches light beautifully. I hung it in my entryway and catch my reflection every time I pass by, it's genuinely become the focal point of the room.
I was a little worried the acrylic surface would feel cheap, but it's actually got a lovely weight to it, and the handpainted wood frame makes the colors pop way more than in the photos. It's brightened up my entryway and I catch myself smiling at my reflection every time I walk by.
