I’m no art expert, but the way Meg layered the acrylic gives the piece a soft depth that shifts as you move past it, and it’s the first thing guests comment on when they walk in. The canvas has a nice, sturdy presence too—it arrived ready to hang and looked perfect in our hallway right away.
The texture is genuinely rich up close—you can see the acrylic strokes and how the canvas was built up in layers. It’s got a tactile, hand-made feel that photos don’t fully capture. I smile every time I walk past it in the living room.
I hung it in my hallway where the light hits it differently throughout the day, and the acrylic texture catches that shift beautifully. It's a 2023 piece, so there's a freshness to the composition that feels current without being trendy.
