The wire binding lies perfectly flat when I sketch, and the hand-painted cover feels like a tiny piece of art I actually own. Every page turn reminds me this wasn't mass-produced, which makes it feel special to use daily.
The foil stamping on the cover looks even richer in person, and the hand-painted pulpboard gives it a texture you just don't get from mass-produced notebooks. I catch myself just admiring the cover before I even open it, and the wire binding holds up great through daily use.
The wire binding lays completely flat when I sketch across both pages, which is rare for notebooks this pretty. And the hand-painted cover on mine has these little uneven brushstrokes that make it feel like a tiny piece of art I actually use.
