The cloth cover has this really nice hand-painted texture that photographs well, and the 103 gsm pages handle fountain pen ink without ghosting on the back. I've already filled half of it for work notes and catch myself just admiring the pattern between meetings.
The wire binding lies completely flat when I sketch, which is rare for a notebook this size, and the hand-painted cloth cover gets compliments every time I pull it out. My pages don't ghost at all with the 103 gsm paper, even with a heavy hand.
