The wire binding lies completely flat when I’m scribbling on my desk, which is a small thing but makes a huge difference for daily use. The 103 gsm pages hold up to my fountain pen without ghosting, and knowing the cover is hand-painted makes this feel like a real keepsake, not just another notebook
The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person, and knowing mine is the only one like it makes it feel special. The 103 gsm pages handle gel pen ink without bleeding through, which is exactly what I needed for daily journaling.
The paper is thick enough that my fountain pen doesn't bleed through, and the hand-painted back cover means I don't have to flip it over to figure out which side is which. Every page turn feels sturdy too.
