I’ve been using this notebook daily for two weeks now, and the 103 gsm paper handles my fountain pen without any bleed-through. The wire binding lays flat while I write, which is a small luxury I didn’t expect.
That hand-painted cover is genuinely unique — mine has these little marigold strokes that look totally different from the photos. The 103 gsm paper takes fountain pen ink without bleeding, and the wire binding lays flat on my desk.
I mostly bought this for the wire binding, since I hate notebooks that won't stay flat, and it lies completely open on my desk. The hand-painted back cover is a nice surprise too—everyone keeps asking where I got it, and I just say it's one of a kind.
