The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person, and knowing nobody else has the exact same pattern makes it feel special. The 103 gsm pages handle my fountain pen without ghosting, which is a pleasant surprise for this price point.
The wire binding lies flat no matter which page I’m on, which makes writing on both sides actually painless. I’ve already filled half the 120 pages and the 103 gsm paper holds up beautifully with my gel pens. The hand-painted back cover being as detailed as the front is a nice surprise too.
The hand-painted cover on this one feels like actual art, not just a print—mine has these little brushstroke variations that make it feel personal. The 103 gsm paper holds up beautifully with my fountain pen, no bleed-through at all.
