Each card is hand painted on large pieces of card stock before foil stamping on one of our antique foil presses. This card uses our swirl painting process. The result is a completely one of a kind card.
Card size: 4.25 x 5.5" / 108 x 140 mm
Made in the USA in Des Moines, Iowa.
The swirl painting makes each card feel like a tiny piece of art you'd frame, and the hand-pressed foil adds a texture that photos just don't capture. I got this for a friend's birthday and she immediately noticed the weight of the card stock — it's got a real, substantial feel to it.
The foil stamping on this one really pops against the painted swirls—you can tell it was pressed by hand, not printed. It arrived flat and sturdy in a protective sleeve, and the card stock feels heavier than anything I've picked up at a chain store. I'm almost tempted to frame it instead of mailing
The swirl pattern is even more striking in person, and you can tell the paint was laid on by hand—it has that organic depth a print just can't fake. My niece nearly cried when she opened it, and the foil stamping catches the light beautifully.
