The hand-painted swirl edge is even prettier in person, and the 104 gsm paper takes my fountain pen without any bleed-through. I've been using it daily for two weeks and the 275 sheets barely show a dent.
I was nervous the painted edge might feel gimmicky, but the swirl pattern is genuinely gorgeous in person and the gummed binding keeps pages perfectly aligned. At 275 sheets and that thick 104 gsm paper, it's become my daily jotting pad for work notes, and it's held up to heavy use for weeks now.
The hand-painted swirl edge on this one is genuinely unique—mine has these pretty citrusy streaks that make it look like a tiny piece of art on my desk. The 104 gsm pages handle pen without ghosting, and with 275 sheets, it’s lasted me months of daily notes.
