The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person—the brushstrokes have a nice texture you can feel. The 103 gsm pages hold up to my fountain pen without ghosting, which is rare for a notebook this compact.
The little cloth cover feels so much nicer in person than I expected, and knowing mine is the only one with this exact hand-painted pattern makes it feel special. The 103 gsm pages are thick enough that my gel pen doesn't bleed through, which is a win for a pocket-sized notebook.
The wire binding lays perfectly flat while I sketch, and the 103 gsm paper holds up to fountain pen ink without bleeding. I love that the back cover is painted too—it makes the whole thing feel like a tiny piece of art.
