The wire binding lies completely flat when I open it to jot down a quick note, which is more than I can say for most planners I've owned. The 103 gsm paper takes my gel pen without any bleed-through, and knowing the cover is one of a kind makes me smile every time I pick it up.
The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person than in the photos, and the 103 gsm paper holds up beautifully to my fountain pen without any bleed-through. I've already flipped through all 120 pages just to admire the unique pattern on both sides of the cloth.
