The gummed edge on mine has such a lovely swirled pattern that it almost feels too pretty to write on, but the 275 sheets mean I’m not rationing pages. It’s a solid little pad that sits perfectly in my bag for jotting notes on the go.
The 104 gsm paper holds up beautifully to fountain pen ink without any bleed-through, which is rare for a pad this size. I've already burned through a third of the 275 sheets on daily sketches and notes, and the hand-painted swirl edge still looks as vibrant as day one.
The painted edge is what sold me—every page turn shows a little streak of that swirl color, and it's genuinely pretty on my desk. Paper is thick enough that my gel pen doesn't bleed through, and 275 sheets means I won't run out for months.
