The birch panel is noticeably thicker than any print I've hung before, so it really pops off the wall. I keep catching new brushstroke details in the paint every time I walk past it, which feels special for the price.
The depth from the hand-painted surface really comes through in person—way more striking than a flat print ever could be. I keep catching new details in the brushwork depending on the light, and the wood panel edge gives it a nice gallery feel without the weight.
The 1 5/8-inch birch wood panel gives it real depth on the wall, not like a flat print at all. I keep catching the light hitting the painted surface differently depending on the time of day. Hand-painted matches the original closely enough that I had to double-check it wasn't a print.
