The wire binding lies completely flat when I open it to jot down a quick note, which is more than I can say for most planners I've owned. The 103 gsm paper takes my gel pen without any bleed-through, and knowing the cover is one of a kind makes me smile every time I pick it up.
The hand-painted cover is even prettier in person than in the photos, and the 103 gsm paper holds up beautifully to my fountain pen without any bleed-through. I've already flipped through all 120 pages just to admire the unique pattern on both sides of the cloth.
The wire binding lies perfectly flat when I'm scribbling on either side, which is rare for a notebook this pretty. The hand-painted cover makes it feel like a tiny piece of art on my desk, so I actually look forward to planning my week.
